Description of THMP seminars:

Introduction to the Texas Hazard Mitigation Package (THMP)

Seminars presenting the THMP can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Seminars begin with an overview of the www.thmp.info Web Site and the vast amount of historical hazard data available for mitigation planning and other applications. This is followed by an illustration of how to access the Map Viewers for online mapping and downloading the map data. Lastly, there is an explanation of how to use THMP to assess vulnerabilities to populations and property value.

Note: Some seminars include a presentation on HAZUS-MH, as well.
